Do not be fooled by the beauty of these apartments. Here, let me tell you the full TRUTH about these apartments. First of all, management will never tell you that this place is unsafe. They will tell you square in the face that it is a great place to live. Do not be fooled. I lived on a first floor apartment and just recently moved the heck out of there. I was there for a year and a half. In that time, I ve seen the following from 3 feet outside my window: 2 men doing heroine in their car at 9pm, bums singing and dancing down the street at 2am, 6 men circling around a young lady assaulting her (which I had to call the police for)at 3am, car break ins, bums asking me for money, bums banging on my windows, a man trying to kick in a window at 3am in the apartment next to mine to beat up his girlfriend (he was arrested moments later, which I also had front row for), pimps watching their girls walk up and down the street, and multiple random arguments which took place in the middle of the street (cars parked and all). But surprisingly all this was not the deciding factor that made me move. Apparently, some punks had been watching my boyfriend s car for a while and finally they decided to smash the window and steal a bunch of stuff. I was absolutely mortified. When we got video footage to get a suspect you couldn't even see anything. SO, these supposed security cameras designed to make us feel safe have absolutely no purpose. I clutch pepper-spray in my hand every time I have to walk to the building. I ve never felt so unsafe before in my life.I feel sorry for anyone who has worked so hard to have nice things to only have them stolen from them in their car.
In regards to the apartments themselves, some of my windows were broken and didn t open, I had a problem with my heat in the beginning and had to have guys in my apartment 4 times before it was fixed, air conditioning problem the following summer, had a leak from my bathroom ceiling that lead to the ceiling imploding and maintenance said it was no big deal and they d be there sometime the next day, broken dryer in laundry room, always cold in the winter, and pretty far walk from car to door, especially if you have groceries.

I lived here and had similar problems. We had many leaks, serious issues with the neighbors, car break-ins, prostitution, etc. I own the blog here ( http://westfieldloftstenants.blogspot.com/). Chris

I am sorry to hear about your "mess" It sounds like the same problems we had until finally we were "asked" to leave by Sharron Connard Wells because we were "obviously not happy here" TWO YEARS LATER...same problems, different tenants. You may have good cause for a lawsuit as clearly these issues have not been addressed wtih any seriousness. SCW and her "neighborhood" group have done nothing but create a new place for the old tricks.... very dissapointing...
