Once upon a time there was a place called Windsor at Brentwood. It was everything a girl could ask for. The model home was beautiful and they said thats what my apartment would look like and the club house was like something you would see in a movie. I had to have this place, so i signed the lease. Little did i know that this was going to be a dreaded nightmare!!!! It all started on my moving day. When i entered the apartment for the first time everything looked nice, i started to look around and it hit me that this wasn't the same apartment that the wonderful marketing rep and property manager had shown me. It was a handicap accessible apartment. I told the property manager that this was not what i had asked for and he didn't know what to say. I told him i wanted another apartment now!!! So he paniced and found one but it wasn't even fixed up. The carpets were all dirty and the walls didn't even have a fresh coat of paint. The shower rod kept falling down and the toilet seat was falling off. I was so angry and to top it all off my moving people were pissed. It was the worst day of my life.
About a month goes by and nothing gets better the walls are paper thin and the layout of the apartments don't make sense. I mean who puts a living room above someones bedroom''' Well lets just say i couldn't sleep at night and for a girl that never had black circles under her eyes now did. Some nights i had to spend sleeping in my living room. I finally called to complain and it was fixed for a while but then a new group of basketball players moved in, well it sure sounded like one was living above me. Nothing was going right!! I spent most of my year sleeping in the living room. What a waste of a new bedroom set!! The next problem i had was the people below me, they must have opened a movie theatre because boy that surround sound went right through me. I complained about that and it stoped for a while then it moved to the other side of my apartment i couldn't eat dinner without my chair shaking. Yeah the floor was shaking because the music was so loud. Errr...i was begining to regret moving here at all. I just wanted to go back home but i was stuck here in this hell hole because of a lease that i shouldn't have signed. Oh the noise wasn't the only problem...When winter came around, my heating system went. when i say went i mean broke 5 times yes 5 times so i was paying for heat that wasn't even working. Oh it wasn't just the heater it was the windows they let all the cold air in. I swear they were made out of plastic wrap wait plastic wrap would keep the apartment warmer. Oh and the fireplace wasn't all that. It was this tiny little hole in the wall that couldn't bearly hold a log.
All i have to say is this place is over rated!!! Management is horrible they don't know how to deal with people. They put on a happy face and play fake. They use big words to make themselfs sound smart when they really are just geeks who have no friends. They dress up fancy becuase they work in a fancy clubhouse but the club house is nothing like the paper boxes that we the renters have to live in. So yes the saying that looks can be deceiving is true about windsor at brentwood. It looks good seems good but is no where close to being good!!!! So please stay away!!! don't let the fake management pull you in. I'm telling you you'll regret it like i did.
