I lived at Eastgate a little over a year and enjoyed it, although it was on the expensive side. 950/month in 2005 got me a 1 bedroom apartment with humungous walk in closets and clean, newly remodeled everything. I really loved the area, and the easy highway access was a perk, not a problem (busy road). Seekonk Massachusettes is where you'll do most of your shopping... No complaints there. You couldn't ask for a better shopping area... jam packed with every store you can think of chain-wise, yet stretched out over an area that made it all seem much more laid back than it might seem. Tons of restaurants and only 15 minutes to Providence Place (imax and lots of shopping) Oh, and there's a beautiful marsh down the road from this apartment complex, as well as views of the bay all along the road into Barrington as well. Very very beautiful!
I remember the staff being friendly and helpful, although I'm sure anything is possible as far as what people have experienced. My experience with them was good, and in fact left me on a good note feeling pretty happy with them. That should say alot. They weren't in the office much though, that's something I can confirm.
Laundry is small but closeby. Parking is fine, no real problems. It did get crowded most days and since there are no assigned spots it was almost like fighting for a spot at walmart at the busy arrival times of the day (5pms ish) The farthest spot away isn't far though, so no need to complain.
And last! Garbage=awesome. You have a dumpster you can throw your trash in right near where you park... and they pick up misc. trash that's left next to it even though they might say they don't like it. I've seen couches, beds, furniture, misc. crap, everything... all taken away for free next to the dumpster.
