Bring lots of money!!! Not only do you get all the fees of a condo, plus more, but you do not get any of the tax advantages...dogs are an extra fee, per each, per month, as well as cats, personal Liability insurance is also a requirement for a lease signing, other tenant paid extras include trash disposal, water and sewer fees, which are not individually metered, but "averaged out" among the occupied units. The key word here is "occupied"...so you can really take a beating on this...it would be cheaper to drive to Johnston, RI to the landfill and drop your trash off, than what is charged per month. And the heat is electric baseboard, old and very inefficient, which is NOT included in the rent. Definitely an ala carte type of place. Apparently insulation in the walls were not an option, i didn't happen to see any when i was unscrewing the wall plugs to block the breeze. Oh, there is one thing you do get for free though...mold some of the first floor apartments.
