or used to be rather. It is turning into Hell's Kitchen. The apartments have been under new management since the beginning of this year. They made a lot of claims about cleaning the place up and making it a decent place to live again. Not so, I have live in this apartment for a long time and I have never had to put up with the horrible (understatement) attitude of the new tenants and management or the most recent addition of mice that have moved in, not to mention the new management is also charging the working tenants $5 per fan/ per month and $18 per air conditioner/ per month if the tenant has the equipment in their apartment.
If you're wondering what's wrong with management charging us for electrical cost for fans and air conditioners, well UTILITIES are INCLUDED in the rent, which management of course drastically raised after they took over owenership. When a tenant complains about the mice, they are told to come to the office and get some type of trap (Yuck!).
The one good thing about the new management is that during the work week (Mon-Fri) the grounds are very well kept. However, with the the new tenants that have moved in one would never know this. Passersby may think we're a new landfill sight.
Another huge problem is trash, management has scheduled for our trash to be picked up once a week on Tuesday. There are at least 120 apartments in the whole complex trash pick- up once a week is not effecient at all.
