These people are so disorganized!

About a week ago I contacted the leasing office since I was looking for a place to rent starting in August. I was told there were lots of studio apartments available and to come and check out the property. I made the lady on the phone aware that I was traveling from MARYLAND TO RHODE ISLAND to check out this place and I was assured there would be a studio available.

When I arrived there no one knew I was coming (evidently they don't keep good records) and then I was told there were no studios available and there had not been for quite awhile. WTF!'

In retrospect I am glad I didn't sign a lease with these people seeing that they don't know their ass from their elbow.

Yes, be very glad you didn't sign a lease with them. At least you only had to deal with them for a day. I had a year of misery with them. Was the person you talked to a female whose name starts with an S, by any chance? If so, she, in particular, tends to make stuff up as she goes, or so it seems. The new guy, whose name starts with a K, also speaks before he has a clue what's going on... Great management (with the most sarcasm possible behind that).

I had another issue with a community property also and i am a realtor. The problem with this was probably because they use a call center that is not on the location, otherwise they would just be answering phones all day.
