i'll try to be fair in this review but it will be hard. These people will do and say anything to get you in one of these apartments. i was promised a FREE month initially upon signing my lease. For me, that was the selling point. i am a vet and just moving back to RI and i was nervous on finding a job and what have you. the security of a month off just incase sounded wonderful. The leasing agent, Name starts with a J told me any month but the first is eligle for the month off. When i tried to use thsi month everyone had amnesia. Noone knew what i was talking about. finally i got a straight answering. They said even though i was promised this "Theres nothing we can do". My apartment was not elgible for this promo. They did acknowledge the verbal agreement on this matter but again "theres nothing we can do".
i wake up every morning to the sound of weedwackers, riding mowers and motercycles. All day, they are cutting grass....ALL DAY!
Noone picks up after their pets and noone does anything about it.
I have my 5 year old son here with me, i made sure i let them know that my kid is a kid and hes gonna b loud. They said that would not be a problem but i get noise complaints all the time from my 4 85 year old neighbors downstairs
lastly, whatever you agree on paying for your apartment, add a few more hundred on that. There is no storage here! if you have any kind of items that you can't fit in your home then what are you gonna do' you have to rent a storage unit from them which can b as costly as an extra $100 a month. if you have a pet its $300 nonrefundable fee plus $35 a month. wait, theres more...if you use your gas(for heating) or you consearve energy and just wrap yourself up in a blanket your still getting a bill! we moved in Feb and we never once used our heat. We recieved a bill for $85 on gas. They are too cheap to have meters for each apt so they add up ALL the heating cost for the entire complex and divid it up for each tenant. Never said a word to me about that when i signed my lease.
Now i need to downsize to a smaller apartment due to my situation. $600 Transfer fee to move to another apartment. I have to redo all the paperwork i did initially so that another $300. And you have to give that upon your 30 day notice. Not to mention the next months rent on your current apartment and your new apartment.
If you decide that this place is not for you and you already signed a lease your looking at roughly 4 months rent. depeneding on how much your rent is, for me i was looking at about $5600 to get outta here. i asked if they could help me in some way because i could not afford to live here next month and i couldn't afford to dish out $2k jus to transfer. They said "I'm sorry, but theres nothing we can do"

Yes, I would totally agree. They have a bunch of brained washed kids working in the office who have no idea what they are talking about. They use to years ago have some pretty knowledgable staff in the office.. One quit one got fired and the other one I think also got canned. Goes to show you can't get good help these days. I moved out last year because too many lies... and no real answers.

I am glad that these experiences are available for prospective renters to read. I just didn't expect to have so many of them to read. I just have too many questions to proceed.
