Villa Del Rio is absolutely the worst place I have ever lived. I work with multiple people that recently moved in here and all of them have had problems. When they sweep the parking lots, they make everybody, even the elderly, park at the mall and WALK about a quarter mile to their apartments. Since we have moved in there has been construction which begins at 730 AM (they use nail guns and play loud music at 730 am). The office workers are smug and rude and have treated ALL of the people who have moved here poorly. My window, as well as my co-workers let wind in to the point where the blinds blow when the wind does. We are not loud by any means, the police were called because we had the radio on at 10pm, and when they came here, they actually laughed and said that it was ridiculous that they were called. I am absolutely appalled at the way that these apartments operate and I am not surprised that they have had difficulty filling apartments. Do not be fooled by the first months free rent, it is not worth the nuisance.

I am a resident of Villa del Rio and have been for a long time. I do agree that the construction does begin early and they can sometimes be loud. Although if you want a nice brand new deck to sit on and enjoy, you have to bare with it for a day or two. The construction went extremely fast and they did a great job. The property is definitely looking to improve their appearance. I was told by their very helpful and always nice office team that it is in the works to put in all new decks, windows, and sliding glass doors in the next year or two. Also the clubhouse is amazing. They just upgraded the Fitness Center, Game Room, and Media Center. To top it off, they are working on the function room upstairs. It has a full bar, with a kitchen, two bathrooms, and two large flat screen televisions. It's great and I can't wait to be sitting on the outside patio listening to the live band and sippiing on a mojito during their happy hours. I hsve dealt with the sweeping in the past and it's really not too bad. The mall is definitely not a quarter mile away. It's more like a two minute walk away. I don't know anyone who can walk a quater mile in two minutes do you? As to ALL the people being treated poorly, that's definitely not the case just go in there any morning and talk to the breakfast club and they will atest to how great it is. I would reccomend Villa del Rio to anyone that asks that for sure!!

It's funny that the few people who actually liked living here were either staff or their cronies.. because yes, they were incredibly rude and God forbid if someone offends them by speaking the truth.. how dare they?!? Do that and yeah they will constantly harrass and call the police on you for no reason. Fortunately the police are used to their childish antics and are quite understanding. It's the worst place in town... unless you are 70 or one of the staffers.
