I moved here in Feb 09. Since I've been here and way before i moved here I've had nothing but trouble from Woonsocket Housing Authority. Let me start with before I moved here. The Coordinator was leaving messages that she didn't have all my paperwork, which she did because I was present when the housing authority I moved from sent it over..not once but twice. Now that I'm here..the Coordinator for Section 8 still gives me a hassle. My case worker she's sweet and I don't have any gripes with her. The Coordinator and I got into a verbal argument over a form that came from an authorize facility. The coordinator said it was good enough and she needed the original which it was the original. Then I had to ask several times to speak to her supervisor and she wanted to argue and be rude. So i became angry and argued back with her which now that I think about wasn't worth it. When I stated that since moving here I've had nothing but trouble from the high school, doctors office etc..her response was so rudely, "well what did you move here for". I couldn't believe she actually said that. So she finally went to get her supervisor coming back telling me he was not in the office and to call this number. I asked the receptionist for the number above her supervisor..she came over and tried to snatch the paper out of the receptionist hand. I was appalled by her behavior. The i receive a letter which made absolutely no sense. The Coordinator stated that the paper i gave her had no phone number (it was on the top lefthand corner) and it didn't have a date (it was on the back bottom righthand corner)and no signature which every paper from the facility in my file doesn't have a signature. I feel like I'm being discriminated against because 1)im a port from a different state and I just so happen to know the rules. 2) because I'm black. I've forwarded my complaint to HUD because from looking on this site this type of behavior has been going on long before I moved here with my family. I remember when my landlord and I was on a 3-way call around Ignauration time with the Coordinator before I moved here asking where we were at with the inspection and move in date the Coordinator began talking about going to the ball and getting her dress. The landlord and I was like..became silent and was like what does that have to do with the home. The conversation was about her going to the ball and then the latter part of the conversation she gave us what we needed. When the landlord and I hung up from her we were like...how unprofessional was that. We couldn't believe it. I too feel like the receptionist, my case worker, and the accounting lady that help me is by far the nicest group of ladies I've met. It's a shame that people are paid to do a job but come to work and do nothing but nic pic and show favortism.

Give me a break. Being black has nothing to do with the situation. If the Coordinator in this situation had anything against black people she would not have been going to Obama's Inaugural ball. The pity party is over. You obviously have too much time on your hands. Get a job. Go to work. Stop sucking off the public dole.

WoW..this is so interesting that because someone goes to an inguration doesn't mean there not racist. People blend nowadays so please whoever you are keep up with the times. Also we don't know why this lady is on section 8 it could be an illnes, a tragedy out of her hands, or even worse. It's obvious your firnds with the accused and you just made it worse by responding on a website that ip addresses can be retrieved from. Can someone say guilty. I'm glad I moved to Mass.
