I lived in Gatewood Apartments in 2004 and I have to say that this is by far the worse place I have ever lived. Right from the start my apartment needed all types of repairs. Some they did (after hounding them for weeks) others never were fixed. The apartment was not cleaned even though I was told that it would be. There was mildew everywhere, (bathrooms, under sinks, even under the carpet because water comes in when it rains)which I had to clean myself!They love to come into your home when you are not there to do repairs so that they can half do the job and then when you complain about it, they claim that that is all they are able to do or that they will have to "check on it for you!" The repair man is SO SORRY! He sits and watches you and waits until he sees you leave before he attempts to do anything. He does everything to keep from doing the job right. He even blamed my children for a problem that I reported the day I moved in and did my inspection of the place. I cannot say enough to explain my displeasure. I will never recommend this place, not even to my worse enemy. It is not worth the money you pay. It is not energy efficient, so you bills are out rageous and you have to pay for you own water which the landscapers like to use on a weekly basis. Please check the BBB for complaints before renting here. I wish I had, I could have saved myself a lot of stress!!!
