At the time we moved in, this place was just changing it's management. The place is now run by Landmark. We moved here b/c a friend of ours was already living here under the old management. She loved it here. Since then things have gone downhill. First of all, the staff keeps changing. Second, when you call the office for any reason, I get an answer maybe 60% of the time during regular office hours, after hours I get an answer about 30% of the time from their answering service. When I call for maintanence, it takes a while to get them to come (as much as a week a few times!) and when they do come you have to stand over them to make certain they finish the job. An example of how 'good' they are, I told them when I moved in that the only large stove eye was not working. Six months later, it still doesn't work after having them 'fix' it 3 times. When I complained to management about this, they were not helpful and very curt. Additionally, we've been experiencing a stench in one of our bedrooms for nearly 3 months now. When the maintanence man first came to investigate, he smelled it but when he came with 2 other people (one the property manager) a week later they all claimed they smelled nothing. We had an independent contractor come out to investigate, he found that the A/C was so filthy it needed a 'shave' and an active leak. The three people supposedly looked at the A/C before him and claimed there was nothing wrong with the A/C and there would be no possible reason for a smell unless there was an active leak. So, in effect, management lies. In the past 6 months we've had 4 floods in our apartment (2 from clogged pipes for the washer and 2 from upstairs A/C freezing. Additionally, we've had one incident with mold that not only cause such health problems for me that I had to use a rescue inhaler 5 times a day but we were left with a huge gaping hole in our ceiling for over a month! Needless to say, our friends is mortified with our experience (and hers) since the new management took over. We thought moving here was a good move. We couldn't have been more wrong!!!
