My family and have here for about 9 months.

The first 4 months were ok with the exception of some very noisy neighbors above us.

Now we have very noisy new neighbors above us and really rude and noisy neighbors below us.

The ones below have a surround sound stereo that vibrates the floor and walls of my apartment, plus if we make any noise they resort to banging on their ceiling.

I have complained no less than 6 times.

No resolution to date.
Other than its a pretty nice place.

The gym, theater and pool are all very nice.

When you live in an apartment, some noise is to be expected. As you said yourself, they also hear you making noise sometimes. Maybe you are bothering them just as much? Just a thought.

Does that mean you won't consider the point that I made?

I thought this site was to rate the apartments and not your neighbors. Never the less we are the bottom floor tenants. The management made ever effort to resolve this issue. The manager brought an assistant to our apartment when we had noise problems. She asked the assistant to stay in our apartment while she walked across the floor of the upstairs apartment. This allowed her to monitor a normal level of noise. After finding that the noise level was a bit excessive, management asked if we would talk with one another to further rectify the situation. I think this goes above and beyond your standard apartment manager. I think highly of the management here and highly recommend Ashton Park

Maybe the walls were built too thinly or they have wood floors. The management is supposed to ALWAYS speak with the other tenants about any excessive noise. That has always been a rule for apartment buildings. That is part of their job and they should not ask any tenant to communicate with other tenants. That is something left up socially to other tenants solely. I wanted to read a better solution to the problem. The apartments apparently are not soundproofed.
