This place sucks! I have lived here for almost a year and i can't wait until my lease is up so that I can move to a decent place. The only things good about this place are the manager and the maintenence! The other people in the office are RUDE and act like you are bothering them if you even ask them a simple question! One of the main reasons I moved here was the so called security gate and it never works! And i recentley saw they had a myspace page and had pictues of my family posted on their! I never told them they could do that! If you are looking for a decent place to live Walden Oaks is NOT where you want to come!

Why wouldn't you just kindly ask the office staff to take your family picture off of thier myspace page? The gate is man made of course it's going to not work sometimes. I am sure the company can't stop people from running into it all the time! If you have a problem it cannot get fixed unless you tell someone. People like you rant and rave but have never tell anyone about your concerns! I love it here and think that this place is the nicest in Anderson! You must like it if you attend the gatherings with your children!! If you didn't you wouldn't go!

I have lived here for almost a year myself with my roommate and yes, there has been problems with the gate because there are people who think it is ok to hit the gate or use the exit as an entrance! But I dont understand how you could give a place that has had no burglaries or crime a one on safety...over a stupid gate. I walks my dogs every night by myself and I am a small woman. Anyways, I would have to agree with the response of why you dont just ask the office to take down the picture if it bothers you so much? That would just make sense. I enjoy living here a lot and I am renewing my lease because it is clean and safe. I just starting going to some functions within the past month and I think it is nice the people take the time to put those things together for us. Like having the people who work here hand us free breakfast as we went to work! So thoughtful! I missed the dog day they had because I had to work late.

The assistant manager here is the biggest idiot I have ever encountered and she is rude on top of that. She alone is reason to stay far away.

Not everyone is going to be happy with everything! Instead of getting on this website to address issues why dont you express this to the one that upset you? I don't think that calling people names on the internet is very mature. It is very cruel and hurtful. Why don't you find a way to let the asst manager know what they did to upset you! One person is not going to change peoples minds from living here. My experience has been great. I find the staff to be very friendly and helpful! I think that they just had to tell you what you did not want to hear and now your upset! That's life! Stop being so childish!

I feel really bad that people are not finding happiness like my family and I are...and a lot fo my friends here as well. I hope you find happiness and can let go of some of the small things. I also think it is terrible to talk about someone on a public website. I doubt whoever wrote the above comment would like something said about them publicly. That is a little too much. I hope you find peace and forgiveness for saying something like that about someone else.

I just moved here and cannot beleive the comment about the Assistant manager. When I moved in my apartment was not fully cleaned and it was on a Saturday. She came to my apartment with a broom, gloves and a mop and cleaned my entire apartment. She was nothing but helpful and seems to be a great person. I have even met her children at he pool. I think that it was very cruel for whoever made that statement it was not very kind.
