I've lived at Waterford Cove apts for 4yrs. I moved here from Bklyn, New York and loved what I saw. The apartments are very nice and spacious, if your on an upper level apartment with the high ceilings. It's for the most part quiet here. The fitness room and pool are always kept clean. The playground and tennis court does suck but overall it's a nice place. The staff is friendly and helpful but there is a high turnover. We've had 4-5 managers and countless other leasing staff since i've been here. There is always parking and the complex is situated on a lake front so you have a nice view of the river and Woods bridge.

New managers, new leasing agents...seems to be a trend. The pool was scheduled to open May 1st, but at last minute...didn't. I am not surprised; seems like de javu! Supposedly it is to open later this month; I will believe it when I see it happen. I wonder if they will close it early, as they did last year. I am not sure why the pool did not open, but it appears the "staff" have "special" treatment, as they use the pool and hot-tub in the late hours...while the tenants who pay for the amenities...have wait until the pool "officially" opens. As for other amenities...someone damaged the gym last year, and as a result, the entire community was punished; they re-keyed the door, and didn't bother passing out new keys to the tenants who pay for the amenities. However, if you pay close attention, you will see the "special" staff enter the gym in the late hours. Oh, they will tell you they have keys...and may even give you a key...but upon trying said key...it doesn't open the door. I believe it has been a year since I have had access to the gym. Oh, I could use it during normal business hours...but one minor detail prevents me from doing so...it is called a job! The complex recently had a HUD visit. Rumor has it, they didn't fair well. Also, one of the "staff" told me that all the maintenance issues I had submitted were notated as "complete". This same person indicated that the maintenance staff was due bonuses, per job completion...or something to that affect...I hope the lazy man enjoyed his bonus; for my issues are still in existence! I think the maintenance person was in a hurry to clear his clipboard before HUD inspected the property. As for Picerne, the management group...good luck with speaking to a live person! A HUGE disappointment! On the weekends, the trash container...conveniently located at the entrance is an eyesore; the company needs to have it picked up more often, fix the compactor, or construct more bins in the rear of either site of the complex.
