Well, I use to work at the lakes and when they swithed ownership and management, I stayed with the property because I felt like the new management company would be a nice change for the property; and also I am one of the FEW that really DID care for the residents. However I worked there for 6 mths before the new management took over, and 6 mths after, for some odd (very odd)reason they let me go, no warning, no explaination, no reason.

I was very upset because prior to them even showing up, I went through all of the "BS" that the old OWNERS put us through, and a lot of times the residents would be upset with management and it wouldn't even be our fault, we just had to go with the flow. I will say the old management company wanted everyone in the office to succeed, even if you decided to go with new management, I never felt my job hung in the balance with old company. When the company came in, they made you feel so welcome, like you were part of the team. Come to find out as soon as they hired a "new boss", a "new leasing agent" and a couple more staff members....they had no use left for the ONE staff member (that had been there the longest btw) from the previous management company. So I'm not saying it's a bad place to live or work, I'm just saying the trustworthiness has totally been shattered forever with that property.
