Save your sanity and your money and go elsewhere. The property is not built to code and the walls are paper thin and add to that a neighbor who has two or three dogs. Well my experience with the female management was that they completely disregard your complaints about the animal and people noise. and no-one cares about your sanity. They give lip srvice and the Dogs run 7-11. I was told that they will move the very noisy and discourteous neighbors if I will sign a new lease. Fat chance of that happening. I have filed reports with the Beaufort police and management and you will be stuck with this misery. Am planning to sue management for pain and suffering and my rent since December. May I repeat ,do not rent an apartment from the Lakes at Myrtle Apartments. Oh by the way, they will show you a very nicely furnished apartment but never are you allowed to see the apartment you are renting. Doubtful that the apartment above the display model is occupied or you would run for the hills. I now see thew dishonestty that was displayed.
