I am quite amazed at the negative reviews I see on this site. I moved from CA to Bluffton sight unseen. I chose Summer Isle based on internet info and a wonderful and responsive phone contact with the manager. This was in contrast to three other sites I called. I took a short term lease but soon after arrival expanded it to a full year. The premises are beautiful and well kept at all times. My apartment was in excellent condition and the management and staff friendly and responsive. I have seen them exert utmost professionalism in the face of a difficult tenant. A community atmosphere is fostered through clubhouse and pool events and there are well kept amenities available. I am comfortable walking in the development after dark. Management and tenants were helpful with directions and advice as I adjusted to the area. I will definitely be renewing my lease here.
