Apartments have extensive water damage. You will not be able to see with your own eyes, unless they place you in an apartment that has black and darkend edges around the carpet. They may tell you that it is dye from the carpet, but it really is from flooding and mold damage. Take pictures when you move in. Anything that is wrong will not be fixed in a timely manner. Maintenance acts more as a soap opera with all the gossiping they do. If they put that much effort in repairs tenants would be much better off. Document times and dates of reporting problems, who you spoke with, and when the problem was actuall fixed. The office management may try to intimidate you, but I assure you, Intermark Management can not afford for all their residences in Richland and Lexington counties to start complaining to higher authorities about their business practices.
