I signed a 6 month lease and then renewed out of convenience, but that was a BIG mistake.
When I went to sign my renewal paperwork, no one in the office could do it for me, so 1 week after my new lease began, I finally signed paperwork.
This is when they told me that rent went up $50.
Obviously it was too late for me to move at this point.
These places are horribly constructed! I can hear my neighbors' (above, below, and next door) televsions and stereo systems better than mine.
The air conditioning system also sounds like a train roaring through my apartment.
I couldn't sleep through the night for my first few weeks because of the noise.
The floor also creaks non-stop, so I hear squeaking when I walk or the people above me do.
The office lady is never in her office and doesn't know much of what is going on.
She made my lease for $100 under what she was supposed to charge, then I got in trouble for paying the lease amount rather than the actual amount.
Nice appearance, good place to take dogs out, but I can't wait for my lease to end next month!
