I can understand what most people are complaining about in regards to the manager beeing a little overly-attentive, but this is also what made living here a very wonderful experience. If you give her a chance, you would realize that she is actually a very caring person, that takes her job seriously. She really just wants to make the living experience a good one for herself, and the other residents.

For "mature" undergrads, graduate students, and/or people starting families, that want out of the party-like apartment complexes, this was a terrific place to live. It was quiet, friendly, and I felt extremely safe (a cop lived on the premises). And as a soon-to-be-mom and grad student whose husband was stationed out of state, these were very important aspects of finding a decent place to live.

I looked hard and long for an apartment, and this was the best there was for the amount of apartment you get, without feeling like you are living on top of everyone else like sardines in a can, or living too far from campus. I loved the common grassy area, it made it feel park-like. I lived in an outside corner unit, and I would highly reccomend it.

The apartments were built in the 70s, but the complex has been doing renovations one ata a time, and mine was redone right before I moved in. They didn't hesitate to put down new carpet, paint all the ugly 70s yellow/green countertops white, and update the fans/blinds/cabinets. The one time I had any problems with something in the apartment, it was fixed next day.
