Best apartment staff in the business

                    Thank you for your suggestions to improve. It is important to get honest feedback and you have made some excellent suggestions. We work to enforce parking requirements and appreciate it when the residents adhere to the regulations that require visitors park in the visitors area. We also encourage residents to call the towing company for the company to report any issues. The suggestion to add a gate to the community will be taken into consideration. There does need to be some thought given to ensuring that any gated access does not result in traffic back-ups onto main thoroughfares but we will certainly look into it.                         Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that your experience at the community has not been a positive one. I have addressed the use of gas equipment within the buildings and that will not occur again. The service team will utilize electric or battery operated equipment going forward. We will be in contact with the police department to increase patrols of the community in an effort to prevent any crime. As stated, the parking can be a little tight in the evenings and we have researched whether assigned parking would be a good alternative to parking stickers. Unfortunately, an assigned parking program may result in a host of new issues. We encourage our residents to be respectful of their neighbors and inform guests of our parking regulations. We will also redouble our efforts to enforce the pet regulations regarding pet waste and make sure that our team is regularly patrolling the grounds. As with parking, the onus is on the residents to be respectful BUT we will do everything we can to provide a clean, well-maintained community. Thank you for your kind words about the staff.                                                 We appreciate your bringing the pet waste and irrigation concerns to our attention. Our team strives to have well-maintained grounds throughout the community so it is valuable to hear your feedback. Please rest assured that we will redouble our efforts to enforce the regulations regarding pets and to pick up any waste that is left by residents not adhering to those regulations. The irrigation system has been turned off for the spring rainy season so that issue should be resolved. When the system is turned back on this summer, we will verify that the timer runs the system during the night rather than in the morning hours. As a resident of the community, you are aware that we pride ourselves on the condition of the apartment homes when someone moves in. Abberly at West Ashley contracts with cleaners, painters and carpet cleaning each time a resident moves out with the expectation that the previous resident left the apartment in a clean, habitable condition. If they did not then the cost of these contracted services increases - the difference is passed on to the previous resident in accordance with the lease agreement. Again, we appreciate your feedback. We strive to put our customers first and apologize for the negative experience that you have had at Abberly at West Ashley. Please know that we will review our policies regarding parking to see if there are ways to more consistently and promptly tow vehicles that are not in compliance. It seems that the issues are occurring at night and are not being discovered by our periodic walks of the community. If you are comfortable doing so, you may report any violations as they occur to our emergency answering service. Otherwise we will work to improve our response to those who are in violation. Regarding the noise issues, we encourage you to contact our office to report the noise if it occurs again. While it is uncomfortable to report and respond to this type of noise complaint we are more than willing to address the situation. Often the person making the noise is unaware that it can be heard so bringing it to their attention works well. With a urban, mid-rise community such as Abberly at West Ashley it is a challenge to keep noise to a minimum but our office staff makes every effort to address verifiable noise complaints.
