I lived here for 2 and a half years. Miss Cynthia, one of the leasing consultants, was always helpful. She was great when I first looked at the apartments, when I moved in, while I was there and when I moved out. I moved out because I moved to another state.

Pros: I lived in the front of the complex where the majority of the 1 bedrooms were located. My maintenance requests were taken care of very quickly. I felt safe living there. It was reasonably priced compared to other apartments in the neighborhood. I liked some of my neighbors. It is located near many shopping areas. I could drive to Mt. Pleasant, Downtown, N. Charleston, or the Islands (James, Johns or Wadmalaw) all within a reasonable amount of time. I got my entire deposit back in a reasonable amount of time as well.

Cons: The place is old so you do hear your neighbors' music or if they start yelling at other during a domestic dispute. The parking was bad. If you didn't get home by a certain time, then you probably wouldn't get a close spot near your apartment. There were people that would hang out in the parking lot blasting music or talking loud at night time. The guests of some residents would leave their trash in the parking lot. The trash compactor would fill up quickly so there was a foul stink in the air when going to check my mail. The laundry center was a nightmare because the kids in the neighborhood liked to play in there. It was a toss up if the washers & dryers worked.

1 Sore spot: There was the one time that I paid my rent through the drop box and the office never received it. I received a notice that my rent was past due. I went to the office with my check book & explained that I did pay it ahead of time. They searched all over but did not find it. I could not understand where it could have gone. That check was never found or cashed. I closed that account and paid with a certified check. I never ever put my check in the rent drop box again. Miss Cynthia was very helpful & understanding during this time. I told her about my dilemma & she said that I could give my rent to her on my way to work. This was a good option because she lived on the property & I couldn't get to the office because of their hours (M-F 10-5). I worked 8:30-5:30 so there was no way I could get there before it closed. Thanks again Miss Cynthia!

I disagree. Ms Cynthia's own grandson is a one of the hoodlums around here that thinks becuase his grandmother works in the office he can get away with everything. And he does! The office staff finds people to pick on and sends notices for asinine things that others are in more violation of. I cannot wait to move from here. I do NOT recommend living here at all! The rent is raised at every renewal.
