I am so surprised at the negative reviews! I am retired and have lived here with my husband since they opened their doors three years ago. I will admit that Maria could be quite testy, but she is gone and the rest of the staff more than makes up for that. The new manager (if you can call her new after over a year) is so kind. During the Tropical Storm Gaston, she sent her husband to our apartment to make sure that we were okay and that we had emergency plans. This was after she sent a memo to the entire community detailing the evacuation routes, local shelters, and lots of hurricane tips. Jennifer even gave us her personal phone number "just in case." And then, as we were leaving the community, we saw her walking around in the wind and rain to make sure that the pool area was secure. It was secure because the maintenance man had already been there. You can't ask for much more than that!

They always have fresh coffee in the clubhouse and my husband and I stop in several times a week for coffee and converasation. No matter what is going on, we get smiles from everyone.

Now, as long as we have been here, we have seen residents getting out of hand in the office and the staff doing their best to manage the situations. It makes me wonder if the people writing the bad comments are the ones who did not pay their rent on time or caused other problems that had to be addressed. As for us, we just signed an 18 month renewal, if that tells you anything.
