Well were should I start I have been living here for about 2 years now, which over the course of that period I have seen numerous employees leave for one reason or another it seems like there is always different staff. The latest crew that they have is Theresa Rourk and her team.. She is the worst one yet very arrogant and rude nature. I have no clue how she made it into management position with the customer service skills she has. Beware of maintenance man that wears the black glove, if you are at the pool drinking and he wants a beer he is your best friend even while on duty he will join you and swig a few, but let him be in a bad mode that day and you would think he worked for the North Charleston police dept. I have seen times when he has talked to people so rude at the pool that they have literally coursed him out. And then what happens he call's the cop on them for something he started.
OK enough on the horrible staff.
The gates a joke they never work and when they open 7 cars can pass through before they close, so whats the purpose. The trash is always over flowing and if you live near the trash container that's all you can hear is the door slamming. If you are in your apartments you can hear everything that goes on outside even a conversation. Also the computer room that had two computers in it ops they are also gone now,,, And no explanation,,, And for all of you that already live here have you noticed the class of people this new staff is renting to. It sure is different from two years ago..
But I must say it is very misleading by just driving through and looking at the property. It is a nice relaxing scenery with amenities.. But don't judge a book by it's cover. Please if you are thinking about renting here do not there are much better places and actually a little cheaper..

The computers were stolen and will be replaced in two weeks, once the new security system is installed. Also, if your grammar and spelling are any indication, you must be one of those "different class of people" you refer to. I am a current tenant, not a staff member, and I hate when people don't get the facts before they post mean things.

I lived at Atlantic Palms 2005. The problems you are describing were also the same ones I experienced over 4 years ago, so nothing has changed. Theresa Rourk was an assistant property manager when I lived there. She was very rude and tried use her position to exploit the system. Her mother lived on the property and constantly complained about noise issues and as result Theresa took it upon herself to harass paying tenants. I'm almost positive that she giving her mother a discount on her unit even though she did not live in the unit herself. I really believe that customer service should come first and siding with family members is a conflict of interest. I really regret not contacting corporate about her behavior. She should have been fired a long time ago. The gate was also a problem for myself. It was either broken half the time or people would just follow each other in.
