These apartments are definitely not worth what you have to pay. The location is great, but other than that, this community is terrible. There are never enough parking spaces in front of my building, so I constantly have to park and walk to get to my apartment. After a long day at work, that's not what I want to look forward to. Also, when it rains the parking lot floods. Last fall, it flooded so bad that water got into my car ruining the carpet. The management say that the problem is fixed, and I ask, "Are you blind'" My roommate and I weren't allowed to see an actual apartment until the day we moved in, and of course it was the one we were moving in to. The maintenance crew had done a terrible job readying the apartment after the last tenants. The carpets weren't cleaned, the cabinets and appliances are outdated, the screen on the screen porch was taped up in places, tile around the mantle was cracked, door knobs were dented. Overall the apartments was in shabby shape at best, but the leasing agent presented it like it was the Taj Mahal. In our year at Hampton Pointe, the leasing office messed up on our bill three times. Before moving to Hampton Pointe, my roommate and I had a decent apartment for $750 just up the street. We moved to Hampton Pointe and payed over $100 more a month. Of course we assumed that this complex would be nicer, but overall it has been much worse
