I moved here in November 2006 from out of state and never even got a chance to set foot in the place before I rented. The staff sent me email pictures and faxed me everything so that I didn't have to spend hundreds of dollars just to look at an apartment 5 states away. Everything in my town home and the community was just as they told me it would be and they were super friendly. Anytime I have ever had a problem with a neighbor or a maintenance issue it has promptly been taken care of. The community has a variety of nice people and lots of dogs which is great because I have a dog. The landscape is nice and they keep it well-maintained. We have plenty of closet space and overall space for living and furniture, nothing has ever broken or needed to replaced. Nothing leaks, our carpet is clean and our AC/Heating works very well. They even cleaned our carpet for us one time. The maintenance staff is very nice and efficient, and answers your calls very quickly. The office staff is also extremely friendly and take very good care of the residents. They are always having free parties for the residents and offer random services for free, like wrapping your christmas presents. The office holds packages for you when you aren't home and they are always professional and polite. It's not even 10 minutes to downtown or Folly Beach and it's 5 miles from my work so I never even have to leave the island. Overall it has been a great place to live and I have had several friends move in based on my recommendation-which they compensate you for!
