Not a bad place to live

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007
I've lived here going on two years now.
The positives: Good, friendly management that really cares about upkeep. Decent sized apartments for the price. Water bill paid for. Nice grounds upkeep. Good location to mall and other shopping centers. Apartments set so you have only one neighbor...which is good considering you can crank up the volume in your bedroom, but not in your living room. Ample parking. Garage units available. Nice back porches. Exterior of apartments is new and looks nice. Interior is nice, sturdy and well built. Well lit areas, and overall, a pretty safe neighborhood.
The negatives: Maintenance work orders lost: This has happened twice, including one order that I placed a few weeks ago. Mildly loud neighbors at times. Apartment walkways not pressure washed well enough or often enough. Pet areas' trash bags aren't always stocked (sometimes for a week or more), but usually are. Mild flood danger: there have been a few times where water has come close to my front door from the outside. Leaky porch ceiling - whenever it rains, my porch on the first floor always gets rained on from the porches above. Questionable screening process: Let's say there are a lot of people living there that are more than likely not 'legal' or speak English if you catch my drift. Also, their pet policy DOES NOT screen breeds...I've seen people walk very aggressive breeds like Pit Bulls and Rottweilers around the complex.
Overall, not too bad. I've had worse, and yet, I've also had better. I have enjoyed my stay here as it is pretty quiet and well managed.
