Sure, the model unit is nice enough, but that doesnt really show you the condition of the actual apartments. We lived there for a year, and if you know Charleston in the summer it gets SCORCHING outside! Our a/c didnt work the entire time we lived there. The maintenence came out many times but never fixed it. So we put in window a/c units because we were burning up and we had a one year old baby in the house. They told us that we had to take the window units down immediately! We agreed to take them down when they fixed our central air, which they never did. Also, we had a hole in our bathroom wall that someone just stapled a piece of plywood over which let in bugs! Also, the walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors doing things you really dont want to hear!! The parking is sparse, there is nowhere for your guests to park when they visit. There is no privacy, your front porch is connected to your neighbor's porch. The kitchen is one of the smallest I have ever seen, and the laundry room was halfway taken up by the water heater so I barely had enough room to open the door to my dryer. You definitely have to be a contortionist to maneuver that one! I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, especially people with kids. They landlords do not enforce any sort of noise rules, so if your kids are light sleepers, good luck! Our neighbors were allowed to shoot off fireworks IN OUR FRONT YARD AT 11:00 PM!!! Oh and, watch where you walk, apparantly nobody around there likes to pick up their pets droppings!
