Horrible and I'm Telling All...

The price and the size of the apartments may be tempting but I you know whats good for you, you will stay away. First of all, the 5th day that I lived here my front door was kicked in and I heard 2 other apartments were also and someones car was vandelized that same night. Just this week a man was shot while sitting on his front porch 2 buildings down from me in what the news says was a armed robbery. I hear guns shots all the time. The neighborhood alone is enough to make renters stay away, but there is more. The traffic is horrible to get home or to work in the morning. It is off one of the most busiest streets. Your mail is not safe because when the postman puts your mail in the box you mailbox door pops open. The parking is horrible. They say they have room if you have 2 cars but sometimes its hard to get a spot close to my apartment for the one car that I have. Inside of the apartments the upkeep is bad. You can hear and feel the floor upstairs creeking and caving in. The walls are very, very thin and you can hear your neighbors going up the stairs, closing doors, taking a shower, flushing the toilet, putting the toilet seat down, phone ringing, TV playing, laughing, coughing and sneezing, seriously! It's a lot of kids around here and they play around your cars. The windows are so thin that you can hear every little sound or car that passes by. Speaking of windows. I still can't open mine. The front door only has one lock and a chain on it. If you live alone this is really not for you. The 1/2 bath downstairs smells like it was flooded and no matter how much I clean it that smell still remains. The bugs are horrible and they only spray once a year so you have to pay for your own bugspray. If your neighbor smokes you will get lung cancer because the smell lingers into your apartment. The patio is nasty. I never go out there. I don't leave the house after dark because this is honestly the WORST neighborhood I've EVER lived in. By the way, you can forget about quiet peacefulness...The Charleston Airport and the Airforce Base is less that 5 miles away and they fly directly over these apartment 1,000 times a day honestly. If you don't listen to any other negative post on this apartment PLEASE listen to me... DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT MOVING TO PEPPERHILL TOWNHOME APARTMENTS!!! FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO LIVE BECAUSE THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO CALL HOME... EVER......... I wish I would've found this site before I put down my deposit!!!
