I moved to Pepperhill Townhomes after being drawn in by their first months free rent special. I thought it was a great deal. Big Mistake! I was taught if you ever want to see a community for its true self drive around at night. I did, 3 times. It seem very quiet. No one hanging out or being loud. The staff seemed nice. However the day i moved in I ran into my drunk neighbor, who was at the time, looking for drugs. I also saw a used needle in the street. Wow! I had just signed a lease and had to lived here. Big Mistake! I was given a inventory/inspection sheet to be filled out with items that needed to be taken care of by maintenance. The items went completely ignored for a month and a half. It took me going into the office and complaining about my sink leaking and also the fact that my downstairs air conditioning unit had soaked my downstairs carpet. I could not walk downstairs bare foot or with flip flops you needed full closed shoes to go down into your own kitchen! They came to fix the problem they simply taped it up and said it was done. The same happened again. It went like that for a week until I had to complain again. They said when they came out the first day they would come back the next never did! My laundry room, which they kept lock until the day i moved in was utterly disgusting. I wouldnt let my worst enemy use that laundry room. The sheetrock was moldy, the roof was falling apart. The walls were chipped. I complained on numerous occasions about this. This went untaken care of. I had been there for 2 months and they said by the end of the month everything would be taken care of the 4 month came and nothing was done i decided to leave this was ridiculous. I legally broke my lease. It made no sense how disgusting the place was. Also once i asked them to fix a whole in my wall in my downstairs closet, they came and put tape on it and sprayed and that was that. I had 2 young kids downstairs and the maintenance guy just went about spraying not letting me know that he would be spraying paint in the area that a new born and 2 year old was located. If you are wise you'd stay far away. You can find much nicer. I'd recommend Wescott Plantation. It's just as afforadable and way better taken care of then this dump. Beware!
