I lived there for 2 years. We brought our newborn daughter home to these disgusting apartments-only because we had no choice. The day after I brought my daughter home from the hospital, the pest man sprayed in her bedroom and she got sick. And of course this was AFTER I informed the office that there was a newborn living there and not to spray the apartment.
We also had a family of rats that finally got exterminated 6 months after they moved in.
We got about 5 notices on our doors that there had been armed robberies in the parking lots.
I have woken up to gunshots in the complex on more than one occasion.
They never fix the flood lights that are supposed to be our only security for the parking lot.
GHETTO.
Don't ever live here!!!
The only good thing about this crap hole is the maintenance workers. Mr. Paul is the nicest man, ever.

I live at Plantation. While I agree it's a ghetto, it's also the cheapest place around. With that, you get the type of people who can afford it. Overall, it's not that bad. I've never woken up to gunshots, and I've never had a rodent or bug problem, aside from typical Carolina bugs that are everywhere. That's called humidity and warm climate. Even if you pay $1000 a month, bugs still exist. For the price, you honestly can't beat it.

This place is HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! 1st off the apartment they give you is nothing like the model that you see. The appliances are from 1980. The never change you ac filters. The last time mine was looked at was in 07 and it is now 09. The office staff is horrible. The court yards are disgusting. The sewage always backs up into you tub, and the office won't fix it. The washers and dryers are now 1.50 and suck. You have to dry your clothes sometimes times for them to be dry. The pools are always disgusting. There "state of the art" fitness center is horrible. There are lots of drug dealers that are always dealing. I cannot wait till my lease it up!!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT!
