Where to begin.....we made our first mistake by renting an apartment right next to Folly Road....sirens and cars horns all day and night. Our air condition kept making loud noises and since our sliding door handle broke off, maintenance fixed the air conditioner with the broken door handle!!
About 3 months prior to moving out we had an awful smell (no it wasn't trash, dishes or the refrigerator). Maintenance claimed they didn't smell anything and therefore offered no help. The smell finally went away after a week and shortly after that, the FLIES came! We had about 50 to 60 flies in our living every evening. They came and sprayed once and didn't even bother to come back and check to see if the flies were gone. They weren't.
After someone told us that the bad smell and the flies were probably from a dead animal that crawled either underneath the apt or in the wall, we thought we had better inform the staff. Their response to this' "That makes really good sense but we can't do anything about it b/c we would have to knock holes in the wall" So we had to live with flies for a month and a half!
DISGUSTING!!!!!!
Everytime it rained we would get little bugs in the front door that looked like shrimp, the carpet was coming up, and there were stains ALL OVER. They even fixed our noisy water heater with the broken handle of our sliding door!!
