I don't know where to start...

This place is AWFUL.

Everything is old. Carpet, appliances, staff. When my roommate and I moved in, window screens were broken, carpet was stained, rust everywhere on the fridge, 2 burners on the stove didn't work, ice maker didn't work, bugs were everywhere, every outlet cover was broken, oven wasn't heating up over 300 degrees, and door had mysterious scrapes on it... almost as if someone at one time tried to break in. Of course the model we were shown was very nice... DONT BE DECEIVED!

The staff is EXTREMELY nice, until you have lived there for about a month. I'm guessing commission has something to do with it. Then they are rude. I called to complain about something... who knows what at this point... and once "off" the phone... she laughed and talked about me to whoever else was in the office. LEARN HOW TO PUT THE PHONE ALL THE WAY ON THE RECIEVER BEFORE YOU START TALKING CRAP.

Once they take care of all the initial problems, everything else is "not urgent." We had our water heater checked out when our hot water stopped working, and was told that the hot water heater was over 24 years old... got a new one days later. Until then showered with cold cold cold water, and then eventually, at a friends house.

Reported loud neighbors, and aparently nothing was ever done, since they were still loud. If you are on the first level, just pray that your neighbors upstairs weigh 95lbs... otherwise it will sound like elephants live upstairs. I could hear the people above us doing their business if I was standing anywhere near the bathroom. Could also hear them doing their other business in the bedroom.


I could go ON and ON...


I'm just so glad that I'm not living there anymore. Wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE.


Put your money somewhere better. I would suggest Riverland Woods. It's just down the road and NEWER. It's just about the same price for larger floorplans and an overall nicer apartment complex. The Islands aren't bad either. Townhouse style with nice grounds.


Save yourself from a bad year.
