I will begin with the only positive things about this dump. It is in a great location to downtown Charleston and the beach and the maintenance guys are good. I have lived here 3 years and the rent always goes up if you renew your lease, everything is very old, the office staff, especially the property manager are only nice and willing to help when you are considering renting here. The appliances are very outdated, which I guess was a good thing because they all broke during my time here and I got them replaced, to include a new refrigerator, dishwasher, water heater and toilet. My carpet looked nice when I moved in, but it eventually started to look disgusting and when I got it cleaned myself the carpet cleaners told me they usually are cleaned really good right before someone moves in and if pets were in here before and the carpet was never changed then any pet stains will show back up over time. I actually found out that my carpet hasn't been changed in over 7 years, thats disgusting think of all the people that have been in here before me. I have seen mice around my building and on the porch, it doesn't seem as if they do any pest control because I am constantly finding bugs and roaches. I can go on and on, if you get the point there are much better places to rent in charleston than here and are probably less expensive.
