Could be worse

We have lived in Woodbridge for about 2 years now. There is definetely noise issues as we have heard a party apartment on the 1st floor from our 3rd floor apartment. Parties are frequent BUT, CALL THE COURTESY OFFICER OF THE POLICE! We do and things quiet down quickly. The management is very nice, but the maintance is not so great. It takes a while to get things fixed. They are shaping up more now. They are putting in a gym and have a computer center for the tenants. They keep the grounds fairly nice and parking isn't to bad on the side we live on. The downfall is there aren't to many families living in here and we have 2 kids. I would have loved to see a grassy area or a playground for the kids instead of a parking lot. I have never had my car broken into and feel pretty safe compared to some of the surrounding areas. It is an apartment community with a lot of diverse people so you are never going to live somewhere where nothing EVER happens or everything is perfect. We like it BUT the money is extremely extremely high for what they offer. We lived in Hilton Head and had a trilevel apartment with water included, 3bd, 2.5 bath, porch, w/d included, huge laundry room, VERY NICE for $925. So paying what we do.....isn't pretty outrageous, but we like the schools, so we are kind of stuck for now.
