This place is a nightmare

I can't even to begin to explain how bad this place was. On the move in day there were multiple items broken such as shelves, the thermostat cover, and all the toilets. A prior maintenance tech named Tom explained that he simply just forgot to fix the items and got our move in date confused. For the toilet issue we were told that we would have to wait a few days to get that fixed since that did not constitute an emergency.
There were also cigarette burns and stains on the carpet in every room in the apartment. This was a sure indication that if they did not charge the prior residents for damage or they just pocketed the money vs. replacing it.
The grounds around the buildings were fifthly and the buildings look as if they have never been pressured washed.
We never once had the ac filters replaced (my last apartment replaced these every 3-6 months).
The pool was often cloudy and dirty. Not to mention is was very small to begin with.
Roaches and silverfish were a complete nightmare since most the buildings faced the wet woodland area.
We had multiple issues with people up stairs who let their dog bark at all hours. I later found out that none of these complaints were documented.
In over a 6 month period the entire office staff had been fired or replaced.
The new property manager Peggy is very rude and unhelpful.
Over 5 years ago, these apartments were very cheap and ghetto but were purchased by another company. They then proceeded to build a few new buildings to add to the previous ones and raised the prices by almost double. This place is a rip off!

Watch where you step, idiot.
Peggy is not rude and unhelpful. If she was rude to you, you deserved it. I live here and everything in my apartment was brand new. Anything that wasn't fixed has been.
If you had a problem with the carpet and all these repairs, you should have documented them on the move in inspection instead of being pissed after you leave-after you paid money to live there. MORON

If Peggy was rude to me, I deserved it? First of all, any property manager that is rude to tenants should be fired for being unprofessional. I'm not sure what planet you came from that being rude is considered acceptable. I documented all carpet stains and repairs just like everyone else. Do you honestly believe that just simply documenting the stains on the carpet did anything on original move in inspection? NO! The thing that did was avoid me getting charged at the final move out inspection. You are delusional if you really think that they were going replace the carpet upon my move in. THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF BEFORE I MOVED IN! You are right, I paid money to live there and the place was crappy and falling apart so I left as soon as my lease ended. The newest buildings are already almost 5 years old so there is nothing new in or outside of them! It is pretty obvious that this is someone from the office responding. I can't imagine why anyone else would feel so loyal.
