I find it very hard to believe that within the last two weeks 6 people have coincidently posted a review of these apartments. Just look at the phrases "Best apartments in Charleston!" and " The staff were ALWAYS available". Give me a break! No normal person is going to go out their way emphasize the word "always" by typing it in all capital letters.

Lets be realistic here, no average person is going to type that so it is very clear the staff members are writing reviews to boost ratings. In reality, these apartments began for low income renters. Later, a new company bought the property and built some new buildings. However, there are existing old buildings to the back that they rent at a cheaper rate.

When I moved in there were multiple stains on the carpets, broken shelves, and scratch marks by the kitchen sink. I was told to document any damage so my roommates and myself would not be held responsible. The funny part is that when Peggy performed the move out inspection she immediately saw the scratches, but we had to point out to her that we had documented it in the original form. She actually told us that was a good thing because we would have been charged for the damage! She was going to charge me but about the previous tenant' My theory is that these apartments are charging tenants for damage and pocketing the money vs. replacing or fixing it like they are supposed too. Be prepared to move in a unit with previous damage!

Noise was definitely a problem considering the walls were paper thin. The people that lived above us had a dog that constantly ran around and sounded like bowling on my ceiling and I could hear my next door neighbors music almost every weekend. I called the office about this multiple times and nothing was done,although I did find the courtesy cop to be very helpful.

I was always very suspicious of the large population of -------- living on the property. Some of the women that lived in my old building did not speak a word of English which makes we wonder how they were even approved to live here. Either way, this place overall looks like a ghetto. I would really suggest walking around the property and toward the back if you are considering moving here.

There is nothing special about this place and the rates are over priced. Best apartments in Charleston' Only if you consider old carpet, small pool, outdated appliances, and poor constructive to be luxury!

Thank you!! No one posts ANYTHING on this site for over a year and then all of a sudden posts are going up almost daily! I think NOT. I believe the staff is also writing up these as well..that is the FIRST thing I thought when the posts kept showing up! Especially when it sounded like a brochure for the apartments! I don't live here anymore and moved out last year but each and every complaint listed above is one that I detailed in an earlier review posted on here..which I felt told the truth about this place! Everything including the courtesy officer seemed to be the only one who was prompt and did his job! Those at Woodbridge, just because your apartments have gone down hill...do something about it...instead of trying to make it "look" better by posting a bunch of bogus reviews...one more of these and I swear I will file a complaint because you are basically falsely posting reviews to lure tenants in...a sound of desperation to me.
