I lived in CP for a year and a half, and for the most part was pretty pleased. The dryer needed maintenance once, and the smoke detectors had a tendency to go off at odd hours, but generally, I could deal with it. Then, when it was time to move out, not only did I not get my deposit back (their excuse was that it was a holding fee and not an actual deposit), but they charged me for a vomit stain that was left on the floor from a previous resident (this was not noted on the initial room check-list because at the time it was strategically hidden under the bed)!!!!! AARRRGHHHH! And to top that all off, I have now been out of the apartment for 8 months, and the stain still hasn't been cleaned!!!! (My old roommate is still living there and said that no one has come to take care of it...) They were nice enough to give me a 6 month lease because I was studying abroad, but they charged out the ass for it (on top of the already high rent), so it wasn't worth it. Also, the spanish lady in the office is a cranky old -----.

But I guess the one great thing about living there was the fact that I was able to keep my kitten there secretly for 6 months without paying the pet deposit.
