More good than bad - A brief review: Good: Location, location, location! Staff is easy to get along with and for the most part responsive. Incredible views, especially if you're on the skyline facing side of the building. Cheap - and the rent includes power, water, cable, trash, etc. Parking's not free, but you can get it for $50 a month or less. And again, location. ...Full review of Claire Tower

mold and meldew - I want to be fair because I haven't lived here in a while since 2007 so maybe this problem is being resolved, but I stayed sick all the time due to exposure to mold and mildew in these apartments mostly in the closets, was moved to a different unit and still was sick every morning with headaches my doctor told me I was being exposed to some type of mold so eventually I moved. Barringer is excellent-- I miss it. - My stay at the Barringer Building during August 2008 - February 2009 was the best rental experience I've had. The location is excellent, as is the view. I can remember only one occasion during my stay when I heard any noise from other tenants, and that instance was not severe enough to disturb me. The tenants were amicable and the staff were very helpful, though I rarely found ...Full review of Capitol Places II

Alright if you don't mind a nosy old lady - Ashland Commons is a nice apartment complex. The grounds are kept immaculate and the apartments are in nice shape to be so old. My MAIN problem is that the office staff is OLD, RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, and NOSY!!!! When I first moved out here, I could not go a single week without Lois calling about something. Seeing someone at my apartment, seeing my boyfriend, or seeing my ...Full review of Ashland Commons

Good First Apartment - I moved here as my first apartment out on my own and have never had a big problem. I have never felt unsafe and when I have had maintenance issues, they have been fixed promptly. Yes, there are occasional bugs, but that's just SC. These are older apartments so yes, things do break. I know there are a lot of kids that the property management is trying to get under control ...Full review of Richland Terrace
