I've lived in apartments for 10 years and am very fussy about the housekeeping and maintenance of such places. When I leave an apartment, it is spotless. This is by far the filthiest apartment I have lived in. I had to lease without first seeing the place and was convinced by two of the rental staff that it was clean and beautiful. Maybe they believe it. It wasn't; thus, I changed the one year lease to six months. It has a 'gourmet' kitchen, but I don't know what they base that on. It has the cheapest appliances and a very small refrigerator/freezer and barely enough room in the kitchen to turn around. Small pantry and few cabinets to put anything. No microwave and extremely worn throughout. I think it's about 12 years old, but the hype does not justify the actuality. Carpet was dirty and stained, apartment smells moldy, and kitchen and bathrooms were much less than presentable. Huge palmetto bugs came into the apartment (they do have someone come in once per month who spritzes cursorily) but fortunately I brought my own jug of 'Home Defense.' It is definitely not worth the $1480 rent for six months. I have no one to blame but myself for how I had to rent the place. I also wanted a garage but they had none convenient to where I live. The best thing about it is the gourmet restaurant across the street and the nearby Fresh Market.

Can we say whiney -- I doubt anything makes this person happy! These are great apartments!
