My daughter currently lives here and it is a nightmare!! Here is a list of some of her complaints and some that was in our local newspaper, The State.
1)A woman was shot in the leg or arm, while sitting in her livingroom. No one has been caught yet for this crime.
2)A Hispanic man stabbed and killed another Hispanic, over what, no one knows.
3)A man kick the door in to a residence and not only was he shot by a resident in the apartment, but two others were shot as well.
4)Another man was shot at the entrance way into the apartment.
5)These are only a few of the incidents that make the newspaper, my daughter says these are a few of the problems she deals with each day:

There are a few Katrina victims who live here and not many of them work, probably the ones who were not working before the hurricaine.

Neighbors who let their children out to play with No supervision, sometimes until late hours into the night(especially in the summertime).

Fighting in the parking lot by adults and sometime they use knives and guns.

Large numbers of Section 8 tenants.

Broken down cars in the parking lot and neighbor who keep their door open even though they have no screen doors!

Children at swimming pool unattended!!

Items have been stolen off my daughter patio and light fixture on the front door is broken someone unknown.

Only live here if you cannot get approved for any other apartment. The ones across the stree, Colonial Villa, are just as bad.

The police are always on the property.
