These apartments are unbelievable. The continual violence is unbearable. If you want to not be able to rest at night as a result of overwhelming fear, this is the place for you. Most of the tenants dont work, and the majority is on section-8. Dont get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with section-8 but its the people of whom utilizes the program the wrong way. You constantly hear gun shots,people fighting and unattended children running the streets til late hours of the night. Not to mention, all the crimes that occurred here. For instance, an innocent woman was in her apartment and became of victim of random gun fire. Also, a man was just murdered in his apartment. Unfortunately, by force entry through the front door. I find it hard to sleep at night because I'm constantly in fear that someone may kick in my door and harm me. This is no way to live. Not to mention the residential burglaries. Almost every other day, someones door is being kicked in. And guess what, these robbers dont care whether your home or not during the robberies. There also was numerous home invasions. Yes, you heard me right "HOME INVASIONS". Its scary. For the jprice your going to pay to live here, you could find a much safer environment for your family. In addition, the management likes to inspect all the apartments a little too frequently. Then they have the nerves to tell you how to clean your apartment. You will have no privacy in Austin Woods. Dont let the nice exterior fool you. They claim that they run background checks on the residents, but they dont. THIS IS GANG CITY!!! Lets summarize everything: You have Gangs, Home invasions, murders, fights, residential robberies, gun firing, etc. DONT EVER LIVE NO WHERE NEAR THIS PLACE. TRUST ME!!!!!!
