THIS IS NOT I REPEAT NOT A PLACE FOR A SINGLE FEMALE. I'M ACTUALLY SCARED TO COME IN MY OWN APARTMENT AT NIGHT. GUYS ARE ALWAYS LOUD AND HARRASSING YOU. NEIGHBOORS ARE SUPER SUPER GHETTO AND PLAY REALLY LOUD MUSIC. WE HAVE A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH ROACHES. PEOPLE THROW TRASH ON THE GROUND INSTEAD OF THE TRASH CAN. DONT LET THEM PLACE YOU IN THE BACK IT'S ESPECIALLY GHETTO. THERES NEVER ANY PARKING AVALIABLE. YOU WOULD THINK PEOPLE WOULD MAKE THERE COMPANY PARK ACROSS THE STREET. IT'S ALSO SUPER DARK AT NIGHT. THE WALLS ARE SUPER THIN YOU HEAR EVEYTHING THE NEIGHBOORS ARE DOING INCLUDING WHEN THEY HAVE SEX. THE ONLY GOOD THINGS ARE THE RENT IS REALLY CHEAP FOR THE ST. ANDREWS AREA (BUT KEEP IN MIND THE COMPLEX LACKS SAFETY), THE APARTMENTS ARE SPACIOUS AND THE REPAIR MAN IS ALWAYS QUICK WITH REPAIRS. BUT EVEN WITH THOSE POSITIVES I STILL WOULDNT RECOMMEND BROOK PINES TO ANYONE ESPECIALLY A SINGLE FEMALE.

i absolutely agree! this is NOT NOT NOT NOT a place for single females!!! ive been there an entire year and have spent a total of MAYBE 4 months over the course of a yr there in my apartment and in those 4 months i was NEVER EVER alone.....and when i couldnt get my boyfriend to stay with me....i stayed with him. i NEVER stayed home alone EVER. i slept with hammers and mase under my pillow at all times!! i couldnt even walk my dog outside with out some ghetto mo fo wanting to get in my pants. NOT NOT NOT a safe place at ALL. the price is reasonable and the maintance is good and i never once had a bug in my apartment b/c i got it sprayed monthly but even still....i dont recommend it for a single girl.
