I lived at Charbonneau for about eight months. It came to the point where it was WORTH breaking my lease just to get out of that nightmare of a living situation. First of all, I lived in the first building, and in order to get to my trash dumpster, I had to load up my car everyday with a bag of trash and drive towards the back of the neighborhood! However, the main problem that I encountered was the parking situation. They have so many cars per apartment, that there aren't NEAR enough parking places for all of the people that need to park there. I sometimes would have to park three buildings away from my building (in a very poor lit area) and walk all the way to my building! One time, I parked in a handicapped space (because I was tired of walking a quarter mile to my apartment, just to find a $250 ticket in the morning! I got up before the front office even opened, but I still received a ticket! There weren't even any handicapped people living at charbonneau!! I HATE THIS PLACE!!!
