The Cornell Arms is a great place to live. The location is unbeatable and if you have an active lifestyle you will love it because the beautiful Horseshoe and historic Statehouse grounds are your front yard. The building is not a party dorm type place, and the students that live here tend to be serious students, grad students, and employees of state government or the university. If you are looking to save money this is also the place for you as the utilities and cable are part of the rent so you don't have wild fluctuations in electricity bills from month to month. An identical two-bedroom in New York City goes for about 2,000 a month, so put it perspective. It may be old, but it also doesn't have plastic shower stalls and laminate cabinets. They have the orginal Kholer enamel tub and fixtures, not to mention an unlimited supply of hot water. The staff is courteous and professional. The views are unbelievable, stunning. This is the safest place I have ever lived as well.

We have the best manager we have ever had right now. She is excellent and gets things done pronto. gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7

Cornell Arms is not nocessarily safe. A couple years ago one of their night duty guards started a fight with someone in the building and shot that person to death. One person was recently clubbed over the head and mugged while entering the building. Police called in to negotiate disputes between tenants is not unheard of. Although Cornell Arms is supposed to staff a night duty person every night, half the time there is nobody. One night the lock on my bathroom door broke, trapping me inside. I called the front desk repeatedly for two hours and nobody came. Fortunately, someone else in the building got it and was able to help out.

I Thank You for your good thoughts of Cornell Arms and I hope that I can improve Cornell Arms as I go. I work very hard to get improvement on things that I think would be important to our residents. Thans Again for your kind words. Sincerely, Myra Rogers Property Manager
