Cornell arms isnt a 5 star hotel, but did you really expect it to be for as little as $575 a month' You get what you pay for folks. I'm a student and living at Cornell Arms is the first expierience I've had living away from home. I have a one year lease, I can safely say that that when my lease expires I don't plan on living at Cornell any longer. It's a great place to start out. I dont recommend living here if you've got small children. It seems safe, yet at the same time when you step outside you've got to wonder if the weirdos in the parking lot ever make it into the building. The security guards we've got are great people, and I like to think they're doing their job but one person can only do so much. Having more than one of them would certainly make me feel more at ease. Needless to say, I lock all three of the locks on my door when I go to sleep. Yes, the building does smell, and the elevators only work half the time, but it's also very charming & walking distance to many places, including USC campus and the state house. It's a simple building for simple, laid back people. No high maintanence people living here.
