This is my first time on this site. But, I would like to highly recommend the Cornell Arms. I first moved there in June and have found the staff led by the excellent general manager to be nothing but extremely professional and willing to listen to renters problems and concerns. Any issues I have had with the apartment have been addressed quickly and professionally. I could not be happier with the quality of service. I am on the 19th floor and the views are STUNNING from there as they are from any floor above 12. Gorgeous sunsets, State House, the works!!!! The apartment is clean and has been repainted. So, as far as some of these other negative reviews are concerned, I can only imagine that some of these people have their own personal agendas. The building is old but that is what accounts for its character (which is highly lacking in most apartments these days) but the staff does its best to update and beautify the building. My floor was just repainted a couple of weeks ago and looks like Park Avenue!!! You cannot beat the price either!!! I highly recommend Cornell Arms and was personally shocked to see such a low rating number. This is one of the most convenient and best places to live in Columbia. It is safe, clean and the staff are friendly and professional. I give it my highest rating.
