It is really mind blowing how some people fake apt reviews.

I'm living in this great and fabulous apartment complex for about two years. I highly recomend it to every body and honestly judging it as the best apartment complex in columbia. first of all with the offers they give you here your rent will be even less than normal renting. second thing we have never seen spiders unless you go after them deep in the forest or beside the lake. and concerning safety I will swear I never experience such a safe community and in any place who search for crimes will find even in beverly hills.unless people who write the reviews are kidding I will say what they are talking about are only in their minds and maybe they doin it intentionally.

We were there in 2003-2004 and there were several breaking in cars and it got to be almost weekly basis at one point. We have no spider problem on the second floor but our neighbors on the first floor have problem with spiders and there were also snake skins around the back area. I also were told by the maintenance staff to watch out for the area by the lake (where I walk my dog ) that there were some poisoness snakes there. I do agree that they apartment is beautiful and we love it there but we also know that some of the problem listing on here is true.

lake... South Carolina... snakes? Not a surprise you can't expect to live "near nature" and not see things like spiders, snakes, etc. And there are no apartments in the whole us that don't have ants also if you live in apartments with landscaping. Don't like nature then live where there is only cement *winks. As far as crime goes there are good people and bad people, at least Crowne has on property type of security personnel to try and deter crime as much as possible.
