We had major water damage to our apartment, we felt the water squishing between our toes when we walked on the carpet and it took them over two weeks to get over and even LOOK at it (when someone says "we have a water problem" they need to look into it...) I asked if they could come over around 5 one day, so I could be there and make sure they came and was told by the manager: "We're not open that late, and we're not going to stay around just because YOU want us to." The office closes at 5:30...it's called laziness.

Their shabbiness is everywhere. They obviously couldn't care less about the buildings themselves...but the landscaping is nice (they just give the appearance of nice.)

The units are not energy efficient. You can see sunlight around the doorway. Our electrity bill can reach over $100.

The paint is cheap, where our pillows touch the wall in the bedroom it's rubbed off. We put those suction hooks on our doors, and the paint has bubbles and peeled under them.

Our neighbors must live in squalor, as we now have roaches. Twelve baits in our apartment haven't gotten rid of them.

After we gave our 60 day notice, our mailbox lock stopped working and it took a week to get it fixed.

All in all, it's too expensive for the crappy service and shabby workmanship of the buildings. Trust me, there are loads of better apartment communities in Columbia.

totally disagree...i have live here for two years now and i totally love it...management is great and maintainence responds even faster than they should and they dont mind doing what thedy have to...i need a new miniblind replaced and they took care of it when other apartments say fix it yourself.. duh.. you should be able to change a lightbulb yourself...that' common sense...i just dont like living on the third floor...i would prefer a bottom apartment.. neighbors are ok..except for this really huge dog that practically tries to attack you when it sees you..a bit of drug activity going on in plain view..nothing major though.. columbia police always partol through during the day...relatively no noise levels at all....apartments are very spacious...kitchen size is great compared to other apartments ive saw...bathrooms are the same waY...great balcony view...however i dont like how its so close to DJJ or the prison but ive never had any problems...tucked away but also close to everything you need..landscaping is wonderful...apartments look nice on the out as well as the inside....on site landry faciity does sometimes get a little crowded and couled use more washers and dryers but its ok overall. cypress run is a great place to live and i would recommend it to anyone.. i love it herte but unfortunely our lease is about to run up and we are moving out of state so i will miss it here....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!
