I've been here a total of 2 months. Not only does the office staff seem totally incomptent (took over a week to get a mailbox key), but their maintanence person rarely does what's needed, even when it's an emergency.

Our hot water heater is leaking all over, but so far, nobody's been here to fix it. The maintenance guy said not to worry about it, it's supposed to drip a little. (I guess it turns into a problem when it falls through the floor and hits the people below.) Our toilets need to be fixed, and a plumber was to be called immediately. Haven't seen him, and that was 2 weeks ago.

The people below us smoke pot on a regular basis. Some people are into that, but I don't like getting a contact high every time I step outside onto my patio.

There's absolutely NO security, and every time I tell someone I'm living here they ALL say, "Girl, you gotta get out of there!!" The way the steps are built is just an invitiation for a rapist, murderer, or thief (not to mention the runaways from the juvenile detention center next door.)

Oh, last, but not least. There seems to be about 50 spiders for every tenant in my building. Outside, huge, disgusting, huge-web building genetic mutants of arachnids build webs. Even when you knock them down, they're up again the next day. (I guess their pest control doesn't cover spiders'')

Over all, stay out of the Broad River/St Andrews area...from what I've heard, this is the best this area has to offer.
